Somerset County Clerk's Office Extends Hours Before Election Day

SOMERVILLE - The Somerset County Clerk's Office, located in the lobby of the county Administration Building at 20 Grove St., will extend its hours to accommodate voters who will be unable to go to the polls on Election Day, Nov. 6.  

            The County Clerk’s Office will remain open until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31, to process mail-in ballot applications.  In addition, the County Clerk’s Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.     

Voters or authorized messengers may visit the County Clerk’s Office during office hours up until 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, to fill out an application and receive a mail-in ballot. 

Completed mail-in ballots can be mailed to the Election Board, PO Box 3000, Somerville NJ 08876.  Ballots also can be dropped off at the Board of Elections, located next to the County Clerk’s Office in the county Administration Building.  Mail-In ballots can be returned until the polls close at 8 p.m. on election night, Nov. 6.
