North Plainfield Police Chief William Parenti announced that borough police and Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office are jointly investigating the death of a borough resident.  The decedent was identified as Waldemir Rodriguez Reyes, 29 year of age, and was located by family members in his Washington Avenue residence on the evening of December 25th.

The North Plainfield Fire Department, Paramedics from Overlook Hospital, and the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office also responded.  The investigation remains open and ongoing at this time.  Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to contact the North Plainfield Police Department at 908-769-2937, or the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Tip Line at 1-888-577-8477.
