Press Release

Chief William Parenti

Officer Dan Conceicao, President PBA # 85

December 18 , 2014

The North Plainfield Patrolman’s Benevolent Association, Local 85, is conducting its annual Christmas and Holiday Season toy drive.  The program assists several local families in the North Plainfield community by providing toys and gifts to bring happiness and good cheer.  PBA President Conceicao said:  “this connects the PBA membership to local families by assisting with both needs and children’s wish lists”.

Officer Tim Boykoff orchestrated the drive this year as he has done in years past.  He received significant help from North Plainfield Parking Enforcement Agent Dana Biggs, Dispatcher Cynthia Cancel and Dispatcher Hope Arthur. Each year PBA 85   modifies the toy drive, endeavoring to maximize assistance to local families in the Borough. Chief Parenti said: “what started as a PBA project has expanded to include all members of the North Plainfield Police Department family; supporting the community we proudly serve”.
